Modern Beachfront Fort Lauderdale Condo
This modern, nature-inspired modern beachfront condo at Auberge Beach Residences in Fort Lauderdale was created as a relaxing second home for a New York-based client and her two kids. Our team at DKOR Interiors combined two separate units into one large, 4,000-square-foot home. As a result, it became the perfect vacation spot for a family that splits time between the U.S. and abroad.
As trusted Fort Lauderdale interior designers, our goal was to deliver a thoughtful design that reflected both the client’s international lifestyle and love for movement, curves, and texture. The inspiration came from nature, the soft shapes of ocean waves, sand patterns, and gentle curves found in leaves and flowers. Instead of a typical beach-themed condo, we focused on organic textures, curved lines, and calm colors. These choices reflect our client’s love for movement and subtle detail.
We used a mix of materials such as light and dark woods, soft velvets, woven fabrics, and textured wall coverings to bring warmth and personality to this luxury beachfront condo. Shades of olive green, forest, and slate, together with Aegean blue, helped tie everything together and added depth to each room.
Lighting was an important part of the design of this Auberge Beach condo. We used glass pendants in watercolor tones, sculptural wall lights, and track lighting to highlight furniture and art. The fixtures didn’t just add light, they became part of the decor, creating a cozy, layered look that feels both modern and inviting.
The result is a modern beachfront condo in Fort Lauderdale that feels personal, peaceful, and perfect for a family that loves to travel, and to come home to a place that feels like their own.
