Earthy Bay Point Miami Home

We’re excited to share a very special project underway in Bay Point, Miami, a 7,000-square-foot new construction home in collaboration with Praxis Architecture and Blanco Design and Build. We’re designing for a truly inspiring family: a power couple with three creative kids, all full of energy and big ideas. The couple have a strong eye for design; as a result, they’ve been deeply involved in shaping this home from the very beginning.

Their vision was clear, they wanted a calm, peaceful space that reflects the beauty and inspiration they’ve found during their travels to Thailand and Mexico. We’ve drawn from these influences to create a home that feels both serene and grounded, using natural light woods, smooth finishes, and soft neutral tones to give the interiors a relaxed, breathable feel.

We looked to places like Tulum for design cues: sandy tones, warm woods, concrete accents, textured surfaces, and organic materials such as woven baskets and unique metals. The result is a modern, intentional home that feels peaceful, personal, and very much theirs.

Inspiration Behind the Bay Point Residence Design

Their vision was clear: they wanted a calm, peaceful space inspired by the beauty and inspiration they’d found during their travels to Thailand and Mexico. Drawing from places like Tulum, we blended sandy tones, warm woods, concrete accents, and organic materials such as woven baskets and unique metals. In addition, natural light woods, smooth finishes, and soft neutral tones were used throughout to create a serene, breathable atmosphere. The result is an intentional home that feels grounded, personal, and unmistakably theirs.

One of the most meaningful parts of the project is how our interior design team incorporated some of the family’s existing furniture and sculptures, including special dining tables and art pieces. These items add a personal layer to the design and connect past memories to their new home. We’re also focused on creating a strong connection to the outdoors, bringing in nature, light, and a sense of openness wherever we can.

Blending the couple’s different design tastes has been a not only a fun but also a thoughtful process. Both bring their own aesthetic and cultural roots, and our goal has been to create a space where both of their styles come together in harmony.
