Romance, softness, and a sense of chic style infuse every corner of one of our latest interior renovation projects. Our clients longed for their home to feel brighter and more sophisticated, so we worked together to dream up a design around the concept of “midnight reflections”. In collaboration with Brenner Architecture and GC Trilogy Construction, we transformed their 13,900-square-foot Boca Raton residence into a sparkling sanctuary with a transitional style.

In every room of this home, light, texture, and materials work together to create a sense of beauty. The design is an example of transitional style, with traditional architectural elements blended with contemporary accents. From oversized mirrors to a soft palette of dusty pink, French gray, and marble white, the home is effortlessly chic and welcoming, just as our client desired.

HALLWAY TO MASTER BEDROOM

The hallway leading to the master bedroom sets the tone for the rooms to follow. A pristine, floor-to-ceiling white palette creates a calming atmosphere before you reach the bedroom. At the far end, a mirrored wall reflects the light, making the space feel luminous. A black console topped with flowers provides a note of contrast and sense of grounding.

MASTER SUITE DESIGN

The house already possessed such beautiful architectural foundations, with spacious rooms, crown molding, and large windows. As we explored a transitional design direction with our clients, we decided together that many of these classic elements would remain, serving as the framework that the design could evolve from. The chandelier, in particular, stood out as a fixture to keep.

Our goal was to lift the space by making it brighter, more comfortable, and at the same time, more to our clients’ tastes. Previously, the room felt sparse, reading as somewhat uninviting. The redesign feels both welcoming and complete.

The finished bedroom leans into a transitional style that is full of texture and visual layers. It wraps you in its stylish embrace with softness that extends to the tufted walls. This carries through to the velvet bed cushions, and mirrored panels of the four-poster frame. Its Chateau de Versailles meets the glitz of a contemporary city.

Among the luxurious upgrades are the velvet draperies, which replaced the sheer ones that were previously covering the windows. These create more privacy, making the room feel like an elevated, guarded secret. And at the center of the bedroom is the chandelier from before. See how much more at home it feels in this new design? It brings everything together, rather than looking out of place.

BAÑO PRINCIPAL

The main bathroom already had a distinct French influence, but our goal was to refine and modernize that vision, so everything had to go. After listening to our clients’ needs, our designers proposed a new design that creates a space that feels open and airy.

The reimagined bathroom is a bright and serene space for relaxation, expressed in the same transitional style as in the bedroom. Evoking the elegance of a five-star hotel, this bathroom leans into an all-white palette, punctuated by geometric tile flooring and a black line detailing on the walls. A statement wall mirror contributes to the sense of openness.

The closet doors and vanity are completely mirrored, which creates a stunning backdrop. From the practical side, it reflects and amplifies the light from the windows. And on the aesthetic side, it gives you a delightful sense of openness, as if you are floating in a dream.

ACCESSORY CLOSET

If you tend to get closet envy, you might want to look away… This gorgeous closet is constructed with custom-built-ins that showcase our client’s bags and shoes as if they were art in a museum. It’s proof that functionality can be fabulous.

MASTER CLOSET

For context, the closet before the renovation was fun and full of personality, but the red seating and zebra carpet didn’t coordinate with the rest of the home. Our goal was to create a cohesive flow from one room to the next, closets included.

Here is the closet after the transitional style renovation. Not only did we add additional shelving, but the space feels more spacious due to the layout and neutral colors used. We also added a grand chandelier because, of course, there needs to be a chandelier in this Parisian-inspired closet!

We hope you’ve enjoyed touring this stunning home with us. Stay tuned as we will be sharing more transitional design ideas from this and other Boca Raton homes. And, if you are imagining your own transformed home, please get in touch with us as we would love to guide you in realizing this dream.
