We’ve already highlighted the common areas of this home – now, let’s take a closer look at the master bedroom and bathroom of this breathtaking waterfront property.
MASTER BEDROOM DESIGN INSPIRATION – THE FINAL LOOK
Serene and minimalist, the master bedroom blends nature with modernity. As a result, this custom-designed space creates a place for rest, featuring neutral walls and warm engineered wood floors that combine to foster a soft, peaceful atmosphere for sleeping.
Additionally, floor-to-ceiling windows frame stunning waterfront views, making the most of the incredible setting. A modernist walnut wood bed anchors the room, complemented by sleek benches that offer additional seating. Additionally, the carefully chosen furnishings contribute to the room’s cohesive and inviting atmosphere. And of course, the unique wood plank wall treatment behind the bed sets the tone for this natural oasis.
In creating this cozy, warm master bedroom interior design, we knew we wanted a large rug to ground the space. As a result, we selected a highly textural area rug with a geometric pattern to add texture and interest to the neutral-toned space. Small custom details, such as the wooden picture ledge, provide a personal and luxurious feel that complements the room’s thoughtful design.
When creating the master bedroom design inspiration, we wanted to incorporate many layers to represent the atmospheric shifts of a day on the water. To do this, we pulled together multiple shades of gray, brown, and off-white to create this visually engaging design. Every choice, from the artistic pendant lights to the duvet, has been chosen to make our clients feel comfortable and at ease while retaining the modernist style of the home.
MASTER BATHROOM DESIGN INSPIRATION
Pulling from the zen-like style of our master suite design inspiration, we designed this serene master bathroom. A floating tub creates a centerpiece of tranquility while the unique vertical wood paneling adds texture and warmth. Overall, the blend of natural materials and minimalist design elements creates a retreat that is perfect for relaxation.
The walk-in shower room is truly luxurious. Featuring neutral-toned tile, a glass door, and wood ceilings, it nods to Scandinavian design with a coastal twist. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the waterfront, making the space feel like an open-air shower.
As in the master bedroom interior design, the bathroom features warm wood flooring and cabinetry, striking a balance between modern and natural elements. The spacious double vanity is accented by industrial-style light fixtures and quartz countertops. Large mirrors from Restoration Hardware complement the design’s contemporary style.
We included an additional vanity to provide the perfect space to get ready while sitting down. In the background, you’ll also catch a glimpse of the open closet layout. The shelving unit provides a stylish and functional area for clothing and accessories while blending with the overall modern design of the bathroom.
