Modern Luxury INTERIORS is a well-known design magazine in Florida, one our team has long admired for insight and inspiration. When we received the exciting news that the inaugural Modern Luxury INTERIORS Design 9 Awards recognized our Florida interior design firm, it felt truly special.

Even more meaningful was being selected as a Luminary Award Winner, an honor distinct from all other awards presented. The Luminary Award recognizes leadership within the interior design industry, celebrating those who lead the way, setting the standard for others to follow.

The Luminary category honors leading designers who are shaping the Florida design community, a recognition of creativity, influence, and dedication.

Award Ceremony: Recognizing the Best of the Florida Design Community

En awards ceremony took place at The Shelborne by Proper in Miami Beach, bringing together Florida’s top interior designers, architects, builders, and landscape professionals for a night celebrating creativity and innovation. Our head DKORista, Ivonne Ronderos, represented us that night to receive this special recognition on behalf of our team.

The evening itself was unforgettable. Being honored among such an inspiring group reinforced the passion and commitment our team brings to every project, and highlighted the impact thoughtful design can have not only on the lives of our clients but also on the talented design community we are fortunate to be part of.

We also had the opportunity to explore and connect with the incredible work of other winners across the nine Design 9 Award categories, from Best Vacation Home and Best Traditional Residence to Best Contemporary Residence and Best Renovation. It was inspiring to see such talent and to connect with the designers shaping the future of Florida design.

Gaggenau: The Winner’s Brunch

The celebration continued with a winner’s brunch at the Gaggenau showroom en el Miami Design District during the week of Art Basel Miami 2025, a truly special culinary event prepared for this year’s most exceptional design leaders. The gathering brought together a curated circle of leading creatives and tastemakers, and it was an honor for our team to be part of it.

The experience was unforgettable. We were treated to a one-of-a-kind collaboration between three-Michelin-star Chef Paco Morales and Michelin-starred Chef Juan Manuel Barrientos, who showcased their world-renowned creations using the new Gaggenau Expressive series appliances. All of this unfolded against a rich Latin-inspired soundscape from Burmester Audiosysteme, making the brunch not just a celebration of design, but a full sensory experience.
