Luxury Racetrack Home in Pahrump Nevada
This luxury residence sits right next to a private track in the desert of Pahrump, Nevada, with wide-open views of the mountains and the racing course. It was created for a large, connected family that loves being together, enjoys the outdoors, and shares a strong passion for cars and racing. This is not their main home; it is a place where they come to relax, have fun, and spend time with their children and grandchildren while sharing their love for racing.
From the beginning, the goal was to design more than just a beautiful house. The family wanted a space that felt exciting, personal, and comfortable at the same time. We listened carefully to their lifestyle and what they love most, racing, sports, and hosting family, and turned that into a clear design idea called “Velocity Fusion.” This concept mixes the feeling of speed and movement with the warmth of a family home. We worked with Double M Construction to transform the concept into a finished home.
Surrounded by sweeping mountain views and the constant rhythm of cars moving along the private racetrack, the home became an extension of its environment. Racing cars, helmets, and gear influenced the design language, translating movement, aerodynamics, and performance into architectural and interior elements.
The designers designed every space to encourage the family to engage with the home, combining excitement with comfort.
The house feels connected to what is happening outside. Whether cars are speeding by or the sun is setting over the mountains, the home always feels alive and part of the action. That is what the design captures.
Materials and Color Palette
The materials in the home help give it a strong, industrial feel. Rustic wood adds warmth and texture, reflecting the rugged desert outside. Dark metal details bring a mechanical, racing-inspired edge, while gray stone gives the space a solid, grounded feeling. Together, these colors and materials create the bold, industrial look the family wanted.
Designed for Gathering and Entertainment
At its heart, this home is about bringing people together. The family’s love for entertaining, hosting their grandchildren, and sharing their passions shaped every layout decision. A welcoming loft, a custom bar, and multiple entertainment zones create spaces where stories, laughter, and celebrations naturally unfold. A dramatic stone fireplace anchors the living area, offering a place to slow down after a day at the track.
Racing items and personal accessories were carefully included by the family, making the home feel personal and truly theirs.
