Brought to life through one of our most recent interior decorating projects, and a favorite source of new bedroom design ideas, this home is also one of our most exhilarating to date. Our clients, a multi-generational family, envisioned a second residence that would celebrate one of their greatest passions: racing. Situated beside a private racetrack in the desert of Pahrump, Nevada, the design brings together the beauty of nature with a true need for speed.
En colaboración con Double M Construction, this home is inspired by the concept of “Velocity Fusion.” If you caught the reveal of the common areas, now it’s time to step into the more personal spaces with us.
Today we’re taking you through the bedrooms and bathrooms, where high-octane racing influences meet personal heirlooms, warm textures, and finishes inspired by the rugged beauty of the desert. It’s where performance softens into comfort, and every detail is chosen to feel both intentional and lived-in. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on… Ready, set, go.
Dormitorio principal

For the master bedroom design inspiration, we wanted to highlight the family’s collection of racing gear. With the sleek curves and bold pop of blue, this racing suit is now a focal point in the center of the neutral built-ins. The bedroom design plays with contrast and repetition, layering light and dark tones in a way that feels dynamic and energised. And, as in every room throughout the home, there’s also a touch of fun!

This hallway is like a personal gallery with 3-D racecar art pieces that add color and dimension against the dark wall. Track lighting highlights each piece like a curated exhibit, giving the space a high-end, museum-like feel while still keeping the atmosphere warm and personal.

Texture was another important element when we were gathering master bedroom design inspiration. We layered rich browns and bright orange hues with dark wood, leather, and a brushed-metal wall treatment to create a space that marries industrial influence with mid-century warmth. Sculptural pendant lights bring a sense of movement and personality to this inviting bedroom.

The large windows in the home are among its best features. You can see how inspiring the colors and textures are, the horizon line is like a painting! With the racetrack visible right outside the window, this view feels both serene and exciting, providing a front-row seat to the action.
Guest Bedroom

Like the master bedroom, the guest bedroom design inspiration layers neutral pieces and desert-inspired tones along with more industrial accents. Organic details like the sculptural fronds soften the space, while a reflective pendant light in a rich copper metal finish adds a sleek element. Buttery leather, warm wood, and a familiar pop of orange tie this space in with the rest of the home.

This guest room is all about the view. The large window frames the desert and racetrack like a work of art. The darker wall palette keeps the focus on the outside, while the soft, patterned rug brings in a pop of color underfoot. Overhead, a circular pendant light with a design-forward, neon effect recalls the many curvatures throughout the home.

Our clients love to entertain, so this guest bedroom needed to be extra special. To create an impact, we gathered all the colors of the desert, from the warm sand to the bright orange sunsets to the deep blue night sky. There are also many graphic elements that tie the space back to the industrial side of the home’s design.
Bathroom Design Ideas in a Racetrack Home
Master Bathroom

Even the master bath is exciting. It blends a spa-like feel with the home’s signature sense of energy. In the center of the vanity, a glowing mirror outlined in neon light acts as a focal point. And, after a long day on the track, the freestanding bathtub is perfect for a restorative soak.

Light finishes, natural stone, and a warm wall treatment keep this bathroom feeling fresh and contemporary. The artwork over the bathtub brings in a sleek, edgy contrast that ties in with the industrial hardware.
Guest Bathroom

Similar to the master bath, the guest bathroom features a large racetrack-shaped mirror above the vanity, creating a unique focal point. Refreshing without feeling overly formal, this slate-blue bathroom is perfectly designed for guests to relax.
