Seamless design solutions are the name of the game for our team. For this contemporary Brickell apartment, we created a custom tv wall design—complete with a bar, TV, and plenty of storage. The key was to create a design incorporating all three of these unique features, while ensuring it felt modern and cohesive with the rest of the room.
The client wanted the living room to feel like a lounge, so we designed several features on the TV wall (possibly the most important wall in any living space!) to create an updated look with a sleek vibe.
ANTES

Previously, the bedroom door was located right in the middle of the wall in the living room. This made the space feel smaller and provided less opportunity for built-in storage on the wall.
Our team solved this and maximized the space by removing the doorway, then adding a pocket door on the right for a more seamless, subtle transition into the bedroom.
OUR CUSTOM TV WALL DESIGN

The challenge when designing this wall was to incorporate the TV unit and bar design together, while also providing an option for hidden storage. The solution? Adding storage cabinets in the same wood veneer finish that goes perfectly with the rest of the TV wall design. The bar offers a place to showcase drinkware and spirits, while the cabinets provide an abundance of storage. We used the same dark wood veneer for the cabinetry and the sliding pocket door to tie the whole wall together.
The beauty of this space is truly in the details. The organic shape of the mirror by Cattelan Italia balances the crisp lines of the TV and built-in bar. The whole wall features several inset reveals in the stone and wood that also function as handles for the sliding door. Keep reading for more insight on the materials we chose for this space.

MATERIAL SELECTION – CUSTOM TV WALL DESIGN
Bespoke suits inspired the design of the entire apartment, which guided every color and texture choice. A mix of rich natural tones and darker hues add interest to the wall, pairing beautifully with the rest of the space. Dark wood veneer starts with the built-ins under the mirror and extends all the way to the pocket door on the right, bringing the whole wall together visually. Stone behind the TV adds contrast and completes the masculine look, while the glass bar and mirror add an elegant finishing touch.
Working with multiple materials requires the expertise of several vendors. Our team coordinated with the carpenter, wallcovering installer, and stone fabricator to make this custom TV wall design solution a reality.
