When our interior designers are given a luxury bathroom design project to work on their creative juices really get going. But, when it includes a gorgeous view, the job becomes even more inspiring.

In this post, we reveal the look of three luxury bathroom designs in different kinds of homes, and share our creative process with you.

A LUXURY BATHROOM DESIGN IN CANADA

Oh, what a view! The luxury bathroom design our team completed in this newly-constructed house in Canada took full advantage of the spectacular view of the lush woods surrounding the property. We achieved this by showcasing the pastoral scene through an entire wall of picture windows, which brought the outdoors inside in the most dramatic way.

The deep Kohler Sok Jacuzzi Tub is the star of the show, so we placed it right in the center of the bathroom layout. Every surface in the room, from the floors to the countertops in a light, neutral palette, has a subtle sparkle, adding to the overall spa experience.

The glass-enclosed shower and large mirrors over the vanity add to the illusion of openness and space in this already generously-sized master bathroom.

MASTER BATHROOM INSPIRATION IN FLORIDA

This magnificent master bathroom is located in a waterfront residence in Fort Lauderdale. Here, we veered away from an abundance of white and cream-colored stone and smooth surfaces to incorporate more textural veneers, rich colors and round shapes. Placing a circular and rectangular mirror side-by-side adds visual interest and a hint of playfulness to the space.

The materials we chose for this bathroom design included deep brown porcelain tiles in the shower stall, and a dark wood veneer around the tub, as a contrast to the high-gloss white vanity and white walls. The vanity countertop, and wall and flooring tile, add a sense of depth and texture.

This bathroom is definitely another one of our favorite bathrooms with a view! Here you can see the glass-enclosed soaking tub that offers a soothing view of the lush green palm trees outside.

MASTER BATHROOM IN A SUNNY ISLES CONDO

This luxury bathroom was part of a renovation project in the Chateau Beach Residences, a luxury condominium building in Miami,FL. This bathroom renovation was a particular challenge because of the local building codes.

The project involved redesigning the original layout to open up the space. This was done specifically to maximize the spectacular ocean view, which was the clients’ main focus. One way this was accomplished was with strategically-placed mirrors to reflect images of the water from different angles.

We collaborated with the clients to design bathroom cabinets that looked sleek and modern in keeping with the master bedroom suite.
