5 Dream Homes: Interior Design Ft. Lauderdale

Ft Lauderdale Home Interior by DKOR Interiors

This stunning waterfront new construction home on Fort Lauderdale’s Harbor Beach has a light and airy contemporary aesthetic – with an edgy twist. Our design concept drew inspiration from the home’s architecture, blending eye-catching geometries together with beautiful glass windows and stone statement pieces.

As can be seen, the design features a neutral palette accented by teal, complemented by the use of natural wood with visible grains. In addition, artistic light fixtures and textural coastal-inspired elements make this modern beach home as one-of-a-kind as a seashell.

The next interior design Ft. Lauderdale project is another new construction home where we took a completely different approach. Our clients for this home have traditional tastes, so we created a sophisticated design inspired by a rose.

Constructed in collaboration with Bomar Builders, the interiors feature breezy, transitional spaces with stately furniture and accessories. Both gold and crystal accents add sparkling details to make each room feel elevated and chic.

Additionally, we layered textured elements for a more approachable touch, including floor-to-ceiling curtains, natural hardwood, and organically-patterned rugs, like the one pictured above. Also, botanical references are thoughtfully integrated throughout, from wallpaper to chandeliers, nodding to the original design theme.

If you love modern art and design, take a moment to explore this new construction interior design Ft. Lauderdale project. This 10,000-square-foot property features five bedrooms and eight baths, not to mention incredible oceanfront views.

The basis of our design was inspired by the famous Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian, with intersecting lines and cool, serene elements re-imagined in a contemporary way. From the windows to the wall treatments, the natural wood, neutral tones, and statement artwork brought to life our vision. The graphic nature of the interior design mirrors the architecture of the exterior.

For this next interior design Fort Lauderdale project, we were tasked with transforming a 5,200-square-foot outdated house into a modern oasis.

We decided on the theme of a ‘tropical festival of life,’ for this interior decorating project. Infusing both the interiors and exteriors with color and playfulness, we created an inviting home for our fun-loving clients.

Organic texture and patterns, clever layouts, statement seating, cozy vignettes, together with mood lighting feature prominently throughout the home. Unique built-ins, coupled with numerous artistic accent pieces create a very customized, personal feel.

If you are looking to renovate your Fort Lauderdale home, we are more than happy to help you explore your options. Take this renovation project, for example. Different from the previous homes shared, this Mediterranean-style residence was stuck in the ‘90s. For that reason, it was in need of a contemporary makeover. We provided interior design services, selecting all the key elements of the design, such as materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories. As a result of this thoughtful combination, we were able to create a fresh, beautiful design.

Inspired by the concept of ‘push and pull,’ we integrated organic patterns and textures inspired by the rings of a tree, woven linen, and the sparkling sea.

In this case, our design team collaborated with a general contractor to reframe the windows, giving the home a more contemporary look. Altogether, the result is a light, warm appearance with oversized furniture, elegant neutrals, and cozy nooks that are perfect for relaxation.

No matter what stage you are at in your home design process, our team is here to guide you to achieve your vision. From new construction projects to renovations, we can transform any home into the work of art it’s meant to be for you.

Now that you’ve seen some of our recent Interior design Fort Lauderdale projects, reach out to our team to get started on your own! It’s never too late to make a house feel like a home.
