In honor of our 20th anniversary, we’re thrilled to reveal a very special project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Built in together with Bomar Builders and STRANG Architecture, this single-family residential project is an absolute beauty situated on the water. Inspired by photography filters, the design concept therefore revolves around light and atmospheric shifts.
Our talented team worked hard to create a Fort Lauderdale residence that would speak to the vision of our clients. The result is a true modern industrial gem, a feat of both design creativity and engineering. From the outside, it’s a sleek minimalist structure, while on the inside it’s a warm and welcoming sanctuary. Let’s explore this large-scale waterfront property in Florida together!

Right away, you’ll notice how important windows are to this home. Moreover, our clients are blessed with incredible surroundings, and we wanted to make the most of the views. While the exterior of the home is sleek and modern, the interior blends warm wood tones to create an inviting and soothing atmosphere.

ENTRY FOYER

The entry foyer provides a moment of pause, where our clients can step inside and take a deep breath after a long day. Designed with a minimalist touch, the space feels both clean and serene.
Thoughtful details, such as the string of pendant lights and greenery, add just the right amount of visual interest. Additionally, in the background are smooth limestone walls, flanked by the engineered wood floors and ceiling. Large windows framed vertically draw the eye upwards and provide a sense of structure without obscuring the view.
DINING ROOM

This modern open dining area is not only bright but also inviting, with artistic accents and plenty of seating for the family. Additionally, above the dining table, statement glass LED pendant lights cast a warm glow like the sun over the water. Carrying through from the other rooms, the white satin wall paint and smooth limestone create a minimalist, refined backdrop. Moreover, the pops of dark teal on the dining chairs mirror the water outside.

From this angle, you can fully appreciate the panels and grain of the light wood ceiling and floors. The abundance of wood is reminiscent of a yacht, bringing a nautical touch to the room. The dining chairs feature a mixed materiality, including unique leather strap details that add an artistic flair. Vertical lines again feature in this space, elongating the room and directing the eye toward the view outside.
KITCHEN

This kitchen is more than just a place for cooking; it’s a bright, inviting space for our clients to gather. The soft white satin walls of this kitchen reflect light with a gentle sheen, while the expansive concrete countertops bring a hint of industrial style to the room.
The black kitchen appliances further add to the modern atmosphere. The benefit of the large glass windows is two-fold: they provide lots of light for preparing meals and allow our clients to enjoy the beautiful views at the same time.
HALLWAY

Hallways are a place of connection, and this one connects in more ways than one. In addition to providing a beautiful space to walk through between rooms, this hallway blends all the key elements of the home – the views, glass, white walls, and wood. A thoughtfully arranged photo collage adds personality at the end of the hall, nodding to the original design concept of photography filters.
LIVING ROOM

Sophistication meets comfort in the spacious living room of this Florida waterfront residence. There are some unique architectural details of note here, such as the slender windows, column, and floating shelves. A patterned light blue rug anchors the space, simultaneously tying in with the other pops of blue scattered throughout the home.

At night, this Florida waterfront home truly comes alive, like a ship at sea! In addition, the light radiating from the large windows creates a wonderfully dramatic effect, turning the home into a spectacular beacon.
We hope you’ve enjoyed viewing this incredible project, and that you’ll be with us to enjoy many more to come.
