A Glamorous Boca Raton Home

Bright, sparkling, and beautiful, like the stars under a midnight sky or a glass of fine champagne, this recent luxury home renovation is a dream come true.

In collaboration with Brenner Architecture and GC Trilogy Construction, this   gorgeous 13,900 square foot Boca Raton home serves as the primary residence of our clients and their three children. They wanted the design to be a reflection of their joy and romance, with textures and accents that are effervescent.

When designing, our Florida design team sought to preserve the transitional home style of this Boca Raton property, while incorporating contemporary elements as well to keep it fresh. Noticeable in every room is a bit of magic, from glitter to large mirrors and a dusty pink, soft gray, and marble white color palette. It is truly a jewel box of a home for this family.

LIVING ROOM

At the center of this luxury home renovation project is a grand living room that is the connecting point between multiple spaces. With an air of cosmopolitan elegance, the design draws from a Parisian influence in the furniture, cool gray palette, and mirrored surfaces. To provide a sense of grounding in this spacious room, our Florida interior designers added darker wood shelving and paneling as a note of contrast.

The focal point is undoubtedly the sparkling chandelier, with three sculptural rings that interlock in a display of unity. As your eye takes in the beauty of this fixture, it is then swept out to sea through the floor-to-ceiling windows framed by sheer curtains that allow the views to remain unobstructed. The windows were previously much smaller, and we expanded them so our clients can better enjoy the beautiful Boca Raton views.

Throughout this design process, our approach was to honor the home’s existing architecture, making subtle but impactful adjustments. For example, before this luxury home renovation began, the living room was deeply lacking in storage. The fireplace was larger and bulkier with no integrated shelving. We added the custom floating shelves to the right so that our clients can display their favorite art objects.

Tapping into modern romanticism, our interior professionals incorporated numerous mirrored elements throughout the home that reflect and amplify light. The panels above the fireplace were added, coordinating with the mirrored coffee table. This makes it so that no matter where you are in the room, you can enjoy the beautiful shine of the chandelier.

STAIRS

The existing staircase was incredibly grand, so we knew it would also be a highlight of this new, more transitional home design scheme. We updated the previous light wood with a much darker stain to make the stairs more moody and romantic with a greater contrast to the surrounding walls. Then, we added integrated lighting that not only illuminates the way but makes every step feel magical. As our clients ascend (or descend), they can pause to take in the sparkling beauty of the chandelier, which is an organic, waterfall-like expression of light.

HALLWAY

While often overlooked, in-between spaces are so important. Our design team decided to transform this hallway into an art gallery, with glass-fronted vitrines filled with vases and sculptural objects. This curated area allows our clients to display more of their favorite pieces for everyone to view as they walk through the home.

DINING ROOM

When it comes to the dining room, we really wanted to create a ‘wow’ moment with the chandelier, as well as the bespoke wine cellar. This room is very intimate but flows into the adjacent rooms, making it feel more open. The custom-built wine storage adds a sense of fine dining luxury and a unique architectural focal point that wasn’t there before.

From this perspective, the natural flow between spaces is evident. The design transitions from the dining room into the living area, creating a natural sense of movement that helps our clients feel connected wherever they are within these common spaces.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is another standout moment within this interior home renovation in Boca Raton, FL. Featuring the lightest palette of all the common areas, it feels especially luminous and open. A row of three chandeliers bathes the space in light, which dances across reflective cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. With its antique detailing and sparkle, the design again recalls a Parisian influence.

We hope you have enjoyed exploring the common areas of this romantic Boca Raton home!
