For London clients looking to escape the rainy weather, there is nothing more appealing than a gorgeous beachfront condo. One of our recent interior renovation projects took us to the luxurious 57 Ocean Miami Beach building. Our design team was tasked with designing a 2,905-square-foot condo in collaboration with CH Construction.
Envisioning the theme of a ‘vanishing point,’ we integrated clean lines, repetitive forms, reflective elements, and a taupe color scheme.
Today, we’re excited to reveal the designs for the master bedroom and bathroom with you. Let’s explore how we brought these dreamy spaces to life!
INTERIOR RENOVATION INSIDE A MIAMI BEACH CONDO
MASTER BEDROOM

As with many of our design projects, we started from square one with the master bedroom in this Miami condo. The foundation of the space was set, but the design was completely up to our talented team and clients.
As you can see from this photo, the space was a blank canvas without any inviting design elements or function. For that reason, we knew we needed to create different functional areas and enhance the available space in this master bedroom with thoughtful details, making the most of the large windows that bring in a lot of natural light.

The finished design feels so spacious, you would never be able to guess how this room looked before! Even with a large bed, there is still plenty of room to walk on either side. To make the bed appear larger and provide a place to sit, we included a soft bench at the foot.

In this interior renovation, we wanted to balance the room with functional elements that conserve space. We used matching nightstands and artistic pendant lights, rather than lamps. These, in addition to the wood veneer panel just behind the bed draw the gaze upwards. This makes the room feel more spacious.
Finally, we included luxe touches like the end table’s stone base and the gold metal work on the light fixtures.
TV WALL

On the other side of the room, we decided to create a space for a dresser, desk and a television. None of the pieces could be bulky as we didn’t want to take up valuable floor space. We decided to keep this side minimal so that the opposite wall could serve as the focal point.

See how clean and fresh it looks now? This renovated area features a wall-mounted television, sleek cabinets, and a clever desk niche. Two glass vases filled with dried foliage are the only ornamentation. Despite its sleek and minimalist appearance, this area is highly functional!

On the whole, the room draws from a luxe and serene aesthetic, with nautical elements. Above the desk, we included the same textured panel as above the bed. This creates a sense of cohesion in the renovated room. We selected an extra plush desk chair so our clients can work or read in comfort.
RENOVATING THE MASTER BATHROOM INTERIOR
BEFORE

Now, let’s take a look at the master bathroom. Our goal with the interior renovation here was to transform it into a brighter, more spacious area. We wanted it to align with the condo’s overall airy ambiance. In the original design, seen here, the extensive tile on both the walls and floors blurred together. It feels a bit monotonous.
AFTER

We’re delighted with how the interior renovation of this master bathroom turned out. It has become significantly more light and bright, providing a refreshing area for our clients to prep and relax.
The walls have been painted white, and a beautiful work of art now hangs above the central free-standing bathtub. By replacing the shower doors with clear glass ones, the renovated space feels as if it has received an expansion. It’s amazing what you can do with the right design!

Let’s take a closer look at the vanity. As can be seen, it features the same hidden cabinets as in the other main areas of the home. They provide plenty of storage for our clients without distracting from the overall design.
In addition, the trio of circular pendants echo those in the kitchen and bedroom. They also playfully resemble bubbles, a fitting motif for a bathroom. Additionally, the wood veneer paneling is consistent with what’s in the bedroom, creating a stylish link between the two rooms.
OPTIMIZING MASTER BATHROOM SPACE
You’ll see how we made each element in the room fit. There are a lot of vertical lines, concealed storage, and a few standout elements, like the bathtub and glass shower. To foster both an organic and fresh atmosphere, we used a variety of natural materials, ranging from marble to wood.
If you’re curious about how we managed to accommodate all the design elements, we started with space planning. We always begin with a technical plan to ensure the space includes everything necessary. A cramped bathroom is something we always want to avoid.
