Taking its inspiration from the reflections of the Miami skyline on the water, one of our recent remodeling projects is an elegant 5,700 square foot <\/span>Fisher Island Condo<\/i><\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Modeled after the natural patterns of water rippling over sand, as though created by an artist\u2019s brush, the design of this Fisher Island home emphasizes movement, fluidity and contrast. Tranquil colors, organic materials like stone and light wood, unique light fixtures, and large windows are repeated throughout, creating an effortless transition from room to room.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

With open-plan rooms, breezy draperies, and comfy furniture, it is a place to find a moment of calm in a busy world. Like running water, everything about this design exists in a state of flow.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

We strive to create a truly special moment with the entry into any home, as it is the gateway to a client\u2019s personal haven. The entry sets the tone for the entire experience of a home.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

In this case, we\u2019ve selected mocha limestone wallstone to complement the existing light wood floors. Together, their appearance instantly lifts the spirit and invokes a sense of calm in this Fisher Island condo.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

With wooden floors traversing the entirety of the home, the foyer leads seamlessly into the kitchen. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

The same muted tones and use of natural materials follows us into this warm communal room, which is segmented by a carved stone island in the center.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

The island is at its most dramatic without the addition of counter stools, which would cover up the incredible design feature with LED lighting underneath. To balance the organic aesthetic of the stone and wood, we\u2019ve chosen unique black chain pendant lights. These dangle above the island and provide an artistic focal point. These add a contemporary, urban accent to the space.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Whereas the kitchen is minimal and function-driven, this open-plan dining room provides an elegant set-up for entertaining. There are repeating circular shapes throughout the space, providing a softness with no edges, like flowing water.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t

The circular wooden dining table invites intimate conversation between up to eight people with comfy chairs featuring rounded backs. The large circular wall sculpture mirrors the table and mimics a bubble or a porthole on a ship.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t

Another notable design feature is the custom glass wine case. <\/span>Our clients can display their favorite vintages here. Also, the case has a nautical feel, especially when situated next to the billowing white draperies that recall sails.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

An emphasis on curvatures continue into the living room, which features amorphous mid-century furniture. The sofa and chairs seem to gently bob around the table like jellyfish. These furniture pieces add a sense of whimsy in the most sophisticated way. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Touches of the mint green have made their way into this room as well in the form of accent pillows. You\u2019ll also find a freestanding sculpture of a figure whose rounded corners evoke a sense of fluidity and movement.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Whereas the previously mentioned dining\/living rooms feature curved forms, this cozy family room is all about geometry. The focal point is the built-in shelving unit, which recalls storage in the cabin of a ship.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Everything has its place here! It not only allows our clients to showcase their most special treasures, but it also has an amazing feature. It conceals and reveals a large TV behind a sliding door feature. With plenty of sunlight pouring in from the floor-to-ceiling windows, it\u2019s a perfect space for spending quality time with family or close friends.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
