A good suit will take you far. So will good design. Imagine what happens when you combine the two! Well, wonder no more\u2014we are excited to share how we brought menswear to life in our client\u2019s bespoke Brickell Flatiron condo.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of Brickell, the 64-story Brickell Flatiron<\/a> is the newest project by famed Italian-born developer Ugo Colombo. And, who knows menswear, suiting, and style better than Italians? It was a match made in design heaven.<\/p>\n

Our client tasked us with creating a bachelor pad design concept that transformed his vacation home into a sophisticated men\u2019s lounge. He wanted a retreat in which he could entertain his friends and soak up his leisure time in Miami.<\/p>\n

But it couldn\u2019t have a traditional layout that separated dining and living spaces. Our client wanted his lounge to be all things at all times. It needed to be comfortable and provide just the right mood.<\/p>\n

So we turned to the dual inspiration of a men\u2019s lounge and the attire the lounge\u2019s attendees would be wearing: unique, fashion-forward, dapper suits.<\/p>\n

Bachelor Pad Design Concept<\/b><\/h2>\n

We found inspiration in the bespoke suits our client loves. Their rich autumn hues\u2014copper, coffee, navy, emerald\u2014pair perfectly with a range of gray shades as a neutral base. The deeply textured patterns\u2014tweeds, herringbone, plaid, windowpane\u2014are classic and timeless. Their crisp lines, polished buttons, and impeccable fit were the jumping-off point for our bachelor pad design.<\/p>\n

Color Palette and Material Selection<\/h2>\n

Combinadas con luminarias de cristal ahumado y nublado, las texturas fr\u00edas del metal cepillado, la madera de grano profundo, el cuero liso y los paneles a rayas crean el ambiente adecuado.<\/p>\n

The Living Room Design<\/h2>\n

As with most projects, the biggest challenge is what ends up making the space the most unique. In this project, our client wanted the space to be all-purpose: dining, relaxing, entertaining, conversating, screening a movie, and so much more.<\/p>\n

We brought the layers and depth of the classic three-piece suit, the contrast of a bold tie, and the repetition of a suit pattern into the space to tie everything together.<\/p>\n

A deep sectional sofa offers both seating for dining and plenty of room for guests. Intersecting the sofa is a low-slung table, that\u2019s the ideal place for drinks and holds a chic light.<\/p>\n

Copper-hued dining chairs provide a pop of color that\u2019s picked up in the area rug, while plenty of greenery infuses life into the moody space.<\/p>\n

\"Dise\u00f1o<\/p>\n

This space was made for entertaining and our client requested organization be worked into every aspect of the design, so we dreamt up a two in one stunner. Within the custom-built TV unit we included a bar display\u2014to keep everything organized and at arm\u2019s reach\u2014and refrigerator drawer for the items not-so-easily organized. A large art piece balances out the bar display to provide eye-appealing symmetry.<\/p>\n

The TV unit is just one of the custom carpentry pieces we commissioned for this space. The custom wall panelling behind the left side of the sofa is also an addition by the DKOR team. Our team worked on a few additional upgrades in this bachelor pad design, like moving doors, to ensure the apartment fit our client\u2019s every need.<\/p>\n

In the end, our client was looking for a home that was stunning, comfortable, and functional, but with a unique look and feel that you don\u2019t come across in many Miami bachelor pads.<\/p>\n
