Be our guest! It’s always fun designing a beautiful space where guests can feel at ease in their home away from home. We transformed this bedroom suite as part of our Florida Keys Home renovation project with Pinewood Construction. So, today we have guest bedroom inspiration for you!

Taking cues from the sand and the sea, the finished product is a serene space to relax and recharge with the sound of the waves crashing right outside the window.

GUEST BEDROOM INSPIRATION – DETAILS

To achieve a sense of harmony in the design of this guest bedroom, we used symmetrical furnishings in pairs of two. Additionally, you’ll find that there is a spa-like quality to this suite with soothing neutrals, like light gray walls, wooden furniture, and a light hardwood floor.

The room is also filled with natural light that streams in from the many windows, illuminating the space and creating an airy feel. 

In addition to the comfortable king-sized bed, the room also features two oversized armchairs with a carved wood coffee table in between. Guests can relax here and admire the stunning views of the ocean, or they can enjoy reading a book. The room also has plenty of storage space with nightstands, a dresser, and a closet, so guests can easily store away their belongings.

There’s nothing like waking up to an ocean view! The large bow window features a turquoise padded window seat that blends in with the color of bright blue sea. Not only does this unique window feature extend the room outwards, adding more square footage, but it also makes for a cozy reading nook.

As far as decor goes, you can see all the natural textures we’ve integrated into the space from this angle. From the chairs to the wall hanging and woven throw, our designers transformed the room into an island oasis.

GUEST BATHROOM WITH A VIEW

What’s more luxurious than having a bedroom with ocean views? A bathroom with them! As you enter the bathroom, you will be greeted by an inviting free-standing tub underneath large glass windows that look out over the blue waters of the Atlantic.

The walls are tiled in seafoam green, creating a completely blissful scene that melds with the outside. Guests can soak in the warm sunshine and relax as they take in the spectacular scenery right from the bath.

Fresh and refined with clean lines and metallic finishings, the bathroom vanity is designed for a beach vacation. Details like the floating cabinets, a glass shower door, and a large mirror make the space feel bright and luxurious. The sink also has a sleek faucet and contemporary gold hardware to add a bit of shine.

Good lighting is essential in the bathroom, so we’ve added both a pendant light and bright overhead lights. Whether the guests are getting ready for a day on the beach or just looking for some extra pampering, this vanity is sure to make them feel at home.

With spectacular views of the ocean, a comfortable sitting area, and a luxurious bathroom, the guests of this Florida Keys home will be sure to enjoy every moment of their stay.
