iSaloni 2017: Interior Color Trends

The latest décor trends are presented at Salone del Mobile every year. On our previous blog “Lo más destacado del Salón del Mueble de Milán 2017” our design team shared a sneak peek at this years interior color trends.

From eye-catching pops of orange to deep blues tones, this blog shares all the trending color combinations this year in the interior design industry.

Colors are an essential design element in interior design, and the most famous furniture brands know it.  Top furniture brands reveal new collections and trending colors at one of the biggest design events, Salone Del Mobile Milan.  The designer furniture brands are innovative in the use of color on their collections and booths setting the emerging color trends.

Despite the fact that each brand has a unique and creative way to apply and combine different hues to their collections, there are always some predominant colors.

SALONE DEL MOBILE: INTERIOR COLOR TRENDS

 

Green

 

Of course the 2017 Color of the Year, Greenery, was spotted at the Milan international design fair. But also other interesting shades of green like “Forest Green” make a strong appearance.

 

 

 

Blue

 

Blues and Teals were part of “2016 Design Trends from Salone del Mobile Milano”. Different hues and shades of blue will remain a trend, especially indigo blue.

 

 

 

 

 

Orange

 

Adding a punch of energy is ORANGE! A trendy shade is burnt orange. Brands like Arper y Natuzzi, includes the cognac tone mostly in leather finishes / their new collections.

 

 

 

Red

 

Keeping with the vibrant tones, red was present in many booths and collections adding an elegant touch. Take a look at how Borzalino y Vitra featured shades of red in their furniture collection.
