Nevada Luxury Home Design: Racetrack-Inspired Living Areas

In our latest luxury home project, we translated the thrill of racing into a stunning second residence. Situated beside a private racecourse in the desert landscape of Pahrump, Nevada, the home was designed by our team and brought to life in collaboration with Double M Construction, who served as the general contractor.  The concept, which we call “Velocity Fusion,” demonstrates how racetrack homes can feel both high-energy and relaxing.

Blending the thrill of the racetrack with the warmth and comfort of a multi-generational family retreat, each room draws the family in, creating moments that feel energized, immersive, and intimately connected to the action just beyond the home.

Today, we are unveiling the home’s shared spaces, the heart of family life and connection. From the living areas to the intimate corners designed for gathering, each space reflects our concept of blending energy, comfort, and luxury. VESTÍBULO DE ENTRADA

From the moment you step into the entry foyer, this racetrack home’s unique story comes to life. Signature details you’ll see throughout this luxury home design make an immediate impression, beginning with a curated display of the family’s personal racing helmets. Warm wood tones, clean architectural lines, and sweeping curves guide you forward, while layered natural textures and finishes feel as dynamic and sleek as the sport.

LIVING SPACES

Each zone in this Nevada luxury home is a part of a continuous journey. Our clients desired multiple entertaining spaces, which can be enjoyed beneath the high ceiling of this large open space. The room is anchored by an industrial staircase, which connects the dining area and an entertainment loft. Overall, this space feels social and vibrant, which is exactly what our clients had in mind!

Through these floor-to-ceiling windows, the sweeping views of the desert and track provided a lot of inspiration for the interiors. To complement the landscape beyond the glass, we chose warm leather seating around the dark wooden dining table. The cool gray stone of the far wall grounds the space with an industrial edge while a pop of neon artwork nods to the adrenaline, energy, and lights of the racetrack.

This dramatic stone fireplace, which also frames the television, anchors the living area as a striking focal point. Throughout the home, lighting and art were chosen to capture a sense of movement, which is seen here in the looped light fixture, which mimics the curves of a racetrack. The tiered sculptural candelabra adds another dynamic element. The result is a gathering space that feels strong and enduring, yet also kinetic.

COCINA

Designed as a central pit stop, the kitchen blends modern function with the warmth of its desert setting. The streamlined cabinetry and island create a clean look that is perfect for our clients to gather around. The reflective stainless appliances bounce light around the space, reinforcing a sense of motion. Finally, the space incorporates existing industrial elements, including exposed metal beams and black track lighting on the ceiling, which complement the overall design.

POWDER ROOM

This powder room captures the home’s racing-inspired energy in a compact, high-impact space. Coordinating with the leather seen in the kitchen and dining areas, the wall color wraps the room in a warm embrace. An oversized mirror with a sweeping curved edge echoes the classic shape of a racetrack, while a monochromatic automotive artwork nods to the mechanics behind the sport.

A large part of this luxury home design revolves around blurring the boundary between indoors and out. Our clients desired a constant visual connection to the desert landscape and the energy of the track. So, from the lounge area to the dining table, to the outdoors, sightlines remain wide open.

INDOOR-OUTDOOR CONNECTION

This luxury home in Nevada is in a conversation with the environment, with architecture that feels like an extension of the desert landscape. This outdoor seating area captures that connection perfectly as it uses neutral tones and clean architectural lines that blend with the scenery.

Even the curving walkways around the home echo the language of the track. As the sun sets, it bathes the home in color, warmth, and motion.
