See How Our Luxury Interior Design Studio in Miami Was Revamped

We’re so excited to share a special moment in our story with you. We’re celebrating 20 incredible years as a top interior design firm in Miami! Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of turning countless spaces into stunning, inspiring environments, and it’s all thanks to clients like you.

To celebrate this milestone, we’ve done a full rebrand, which we shared with you last week. One of its highlights is the renovation of our luxury interior design studio, a space that’s now even more reflective of our growth and passion for creating inspiring, beautiful spaces.

Interior Design Studios

Over the years, DKOR has called three studios home, certainly each marking an important chapter in our story. In 2015, we moved into our current creative studio, and from the moment we stepped inside, it became a space we truly loved. As a result, it’s where our team has grown, collaborated, and brought countless ideas and projects to life. But as our interior design team continues to grow, we realized it was time to give our luxury interior design studio a refresh to better fit our needs and vision for the future, including adding more areas to collaborate and creating a dedicated space for our commercial interior design team.

During this renovation, we had the chance to experience what it’s like to be in our clients’ shoes, gaining a better understanding of their needs and the excitement that comes with seeing a space come together. We’re so happy with how this transformation reflects our own growth as a company, and we’re looking forward to what comes next!

Miami Construction Company

Like all our interior renovation projects, this one wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and expertise of a trusted general construction company. CH Construction has been a trusted partner for many years; together, we’ve worked on projects ranging from condo interior design to home renovations. For that reason, they were the perfect team to help us give our interior design studio a fresh, functional new look. Their skill, attention to detail, together with their commitment to quality, were key to the success of this renovation.

A Trusted Handyman

In any renovation, it’s the little details, like installations, adjustments, and minor repairs, that make everything come together perfectly. We’d like to give a big shoutout to our trusted handyman, Miguel, who’s always there to make sure every detail is just right!

New Entry Foyer

If you’ve visited our luxury interior design studio in Miami before, you might recall that the entry didn’t have a defined reception desk. With our renovation, that’s all changed. Now, as you step into our newly refreshed studio, you’ll be welcomed by a beautifully designed entry desk and a warm, inviting receiving area, complete with stunning wood treatments.

This space was designed to reflect the same warm, welcoming experience we want everyone to feel when they walk through our doors.

The new front desk was custom fabricated and installed by ARTEC, one of our trusted carpentry partners. We love collaborating with them not just for the quality of their work, but also for their impeccable installation and ongoing support. Additionally, adding to this space are gorgeous wood panels together with a tall, lush faux greenery installation by Silk Gallery, bringing a touch of the outdoors inside.

Main Conference Room

Our main conference room, lovingly called “The House,” remains the place where important meetings are held. It’s where Monday meetings kick off the week, and countless client presentations come to life. For that reason, to make it even better, we gave it a full refresh with new furniture, accessories, and a custom bench for extra seating.

Since this is where we welcome our clients, we wanted the space to feel as comfortable and inviting as home. That meant choosing top-quality, comfortable furniture, such as our conference table with a stunning, durable top and ergonomic chairs that make every design presentation a more enjoyable experience. A special thank you goes to Anima Domus, who donated the perfect conference room chairs in a truly unique color. They even helped us pick the perfect accent color to give “The House” the pop of color it needed.

The beautiful oval table from CLIMA Outdoors, fits perfectly into the space and was the perfect finishing touch, bringing the whole look together in a stylish and functional way.

We wanted to create a versatile room. With this purpose in mind, we added sliding doors to transform what was once an open space into a versatile room. Crafted by our trusted partners at ARTEC Custom Wood, they allow us to easily switch between keeping the room closed for private meetings or opening it up for larger team gatherings. We absolutely love how they turned out! Not only are the pocket doors functional and stylish, but the carpentry details throughout the conference room are truly outstanding.

Phone Booth #1

Phone Booth #1 is where creativity happens! We hold plenty of Zoom and internal meetings here, so we wanted to make it bold and inspiring. The new furniture, including the chairs from CLIMA Outdoors, really stands out for its quality and style.

We also added a new rug from Obadashian Rugs that incorporates organic shapes and bold colors, a look that we totally love. The lighting, donated by DDC NYC, completes the area with a beautiful gradient glass shape that is one of our favorites.

Phone Booth #2

We’ve added a new phone booth, and we’re calling it the ‘Blue Room’! This cozy spot is also perfect for more private meetings. As can be seen, the moodiness of the space is elevated by some stunning accent lighting by Visual Comfort, which really gives it that perfect vibe.

Because of the unique layout, we needed a custom bench, and luckily, Julio Arnova was the person to bring it to life. His craftsmanship made sure it fit perfectly! Because the concept behind the room was color blocking, we added the perfect accent chair by Adriana Hoyos. Its beautiful fabric complements all the finishes around it, pulling the whole design together.

The Library

In addition, we also incorporated a new library by FLORENSE, which has been a game changer for our interior design studio. It keeps us organized while also adding stunning design features! With integrated LED lighting and high-end materials, it provides a modern touch to our main area right next to the desk space. In addition, it’s very convenient for our designers, because everything is within arm’s reach, making it easy to grab samples to review when needed.

A big shoutout to Bee Organized Miami for helping us organize the library. Their help made sure it’s not only functional, but it is also beautiful!

VIP Bath

We gave our VIP bathroom a complete makeover, bringing in a fresh and contemporary vibe that feels both stylish and inviting. It’s now a space where our VIP guests can see firsthand some of the features we love to design, such as the integrated sink crafted from stunning stone donated by BKF Decor Solutions. The accent stone wall, featuring perfect veining as well as beautiful colors, was generously provided by ARCA and really ties the whole look together.

For both the flooring and walls, we chose large format, neutral tiles from Your Tile Solution, which keep the space modern and sleek. To add a bit of depth and personality, we included a custom mirror designed by Gustavo – he’s a rockstar when it comes to creating pieces that truly stand out!

Updates on Our Kitchen

The kitchen is where we come together as a team to share meals and experience some of our favorite moments together. For that reason, we added a neutral white tile backsplash that brightens up the space beautifully. Thanks to the amazing donation from Your Tile Solution.

Details Around Our Studio

Wall Treatments And Installation

Our sister company, DKOR Windows and Walls, helped us bring the perfect textures to complement our luxury interior design studio’s design. As you walk through the space, you’ll notice unique wall coverings that add not only warmth but also character.

In the phone booth, a bold, graphic wallcovering creates a focal point that sparks creativity, while the conference room features a neutral texture that pairs beautifully with the wood finishes, creating the ideal backdrop for a special art piece consigned by Axiom Fine Art Consulting.

A big shoutout and thank you to the incredible team at Man with a Beard  for their flawless installation, which helped to create the beautiful interior design studio we envisioned.

Green Touches All Around Our Design Studio

FASTSIGNS Davie did an outstanding job with the signage for our new office! They made the entire process smooth and seamless, delivering a final result that truly enhances and defines our beautiful spaces. Their team was always available to answer our questions, provide updates, and ensure everything was completed to perfection.
